Through the grace of God, Warwick Reformed Church is Changing Lives By Christ’s Love.

We open our doors to partner with community organizations who serve our neighbors

Backpack Snack Attack

“Backpack Snack Attack is an outreach program of the Warwick Reformed Church that feeds nearly 300 school children in Warwick Township.  The church started this program in January 2009 to provide food for hungry school children to eat at home every weekend, when school meals are not available. In the fall of 2011 we expanded to include all public schools in Warwick Township, including Warwick, Florida and Greenwood Lake.

The school selects the children in need. We then provide the backpacks and food for the children and their siblings every weekend.

We send individually sized, ready to eat (including microwavable) food items home with hungry children in backpacks on Friday. The backpacks are returned to the school nurse on Monday.

The Backpack Snack Attack program is run entirely by a group of volunteers and supported by donations and fund raising.”

“Located in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley, WRC Theatre Company has been performing children’s theater at the Warwick Reformed Church since 2013. We have put on a variety of shows, ranging from famous musicals such as “Beauty and the Beast,” to sketch comedy and even a traveling monologue show.

In all that we do, we strive to live out our motto of changing lives one performance at a time, while at the same time working to better the world around us. We always perform our shows as an outreach opportunity for young people to make a difference in their community. We never charge admission to our performances, but take a free will offering which is then given back to those in need, both in our town and around the world.”
